Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival At Kathmandu
    Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, we will pick you up and check you into the hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure for acclimatization and rest for the upcoming ride. Dinner included.
  • Day 2: Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park
    Distance: 175 km
    After breakfast, we will start our ride from Kathmandu Valley to Chitwan, navigating through the city traffic and descending into the Terai region of Nepal. Chitwan is famous for its flora and fauna. By early evening, we will reach Chitwan. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 3: Explore Chitwan
    After breakfast, we will explore Jungle Safari and bird watching in Chitwan National Park. Later in the evening, we will visit Tharu local cultural dance. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 4: Chitwan to Kathmandu
    Distance: 175 km
    After exploring Chitwan, we will proceed back to Kathmandu Valley. The roads will be smooth in the first part and then we will start ascending towards Kathmandu Valley. By evening, we will reach Kathmandu. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 5: Explore Kathmandu on your own
    Today will be a relaxed day. You can enjoy exploring some local sightseeing in Kathmandu like Pashupathinath Temple, Boudhnath Temple, Thamel, and other places if time permits. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 6: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi
    Distance: 125 km
    After exploring Kathmandu Valley, we will start our ride towards Syabrubesi, located 20 km before the China border from the Nepal side. The journey will take us through narrow valleys and bumpy roads. We will reach Syabrubesi by early evening. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 7: Rasuwa Border (1800m) to Kyirong Town (2800m)
    Distance: 60 km
    After breakfast, we will visit Nepal customs and immigration for exit formalities. Our Chinese guide will meet us at the Kyirong border on the China side. After completing all the customs documents, we will drive to Kyirong Town, 40 km away from the border. In the afternoon, clients can hike around to acclimatize. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 8: Kyirong Town (2800m) to Old Tingri (4340m)
    Distance: 300 km
    In the morning, we will drive upward to the real Plateau of Tibet, passing over a high pass of over 5000m, and witnessing the magnificent Mt. Shixiabangma and the blue diamond-like Pekutso Lake, as well as the snow-capped Himalaya ranges. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 9: Old Tingri (4300m) to EBC (5200m)
    Distance: 250 km
    Morning drive 150 km from Old Tingri to EBC by the zigzag road, enjoying the highest peak of the earth. We will have a spectacular view of the Himalayan ranges with more than 5 peaks over 8000m, including Mt. Everest. After exploring the EBC area, we will drive 100 km to Shegar and overnight here. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 10: Shegar (4300m) to Shigatse (3800m)
    Distance: 300 km
    Morning after breakfast, drive to Sakya, a famous monastery and Buddhist sect that played an important role in Tibetan history. On the way, we will pass Gyatsola Pass with over 5000m, where there is one of the best points to view the Himalayan ranges. Then drive to Shigatse and rest in the second-largest city in Tibet. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 11: Shigatse (3800m) to Gyantse (3940m)
    Distance: 90 km
    In the morning after breakfast, continue applying for the license if it was not finished the previous day. Then a short ride of 90 km from Shigatse to Gyantse, which boasts a variety of important cultural and historical sites – Khumbum, Palkhor Chode Monastery, and Gyantse old street. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 12: Gyantse (3900m) to Lhasa (3650m)
    Distance: 265 km
    After breakfast, ride 265 km to Lhasa, passing Manak Dam Lake, hanging prayer flags at Simila Mountain Pass, and viewing the Korola Glacier, turquoise Yamdrok Lake, and snow-capped Mount Nyichen Khangsa. Finally, cross the Brahmaputra River and reach Lhasa. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 13: Sightseeing in Lhasa
    Today we will visit the famous Potala Palace, the cardinal landmark of Tibet and the masterpiece of Tibetan architecture, and Jokhang Temple, one of the most sacred temples in Tibet. You will have time to walk around Bakhor Street, the most devotional circuit and crowded central market of Lhasa. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 14: Sightseeing in Lhasa
    Today we will visit Drepung Monastery, the biggest monastery in Tibet, and Sera Monastery, known for its monk debating. These two monasteries are most important in Lhasa city for the Gulapa sect. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 15: Departure from Lhasa
    After breakfast, we will drop you at the airport for your onward journey. After exploring some of the world’s best adventure routes from India to Nepal and Tibet, we will finally bid goodbye with the hope of riding together again on the road less traveled. End of the Mount Everest Motorcycle tour. Breakfast included.

14 Nights shared double / twin room at 3 stars hotels. Campsites and Guest Houses when off the beaten track.

Single accommodation is available with a supplement of 600 USD (please note that shared bathrooms may be required at some locations).

Available upgrades:

Free insurance is included, however there is a mandatory 100 USD fee to remove excess. Must be settle when reaching Nepal.
