Itinerary

  • Day 1: Upon arrival at Darwin airport, you’ll be transferred directly to our joining hotel, getting you settled in for an early start tomorrow. Today, you’ll meet your crew for a tour briefing followed by a welcome dinner.
  • Day 2: Today’s journey takes us from Darwin into the heart of Australia’s largest and most spectacular national park, Kakadu, with a three-hour ride.
  • Day 3: We dedicate a full day to exploring Kakadu, including a sunrise cruise of the Yellow Waters and visits to 20,000-year-old rock art sites.
  • Day 4: Heading south, we arrive in the subtropical town of Katherine, where we’ll explore the remarkable 20 million-year-old Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine Gorge) and cruise along some of its 13 gorges.
  • Day 5: Continuing southward, we pass through Daly Waters Pub and Newcastle Waters, known for its hotel made of abandoned windmills, before reaching Tennant Creek.
  • Day 6:
    Today, we visit the iconic Devils Marbles and the remote Barrow Creek Hotel, passing through the self-proclaimed UFO capital of Australia at Wycliffe Wells before arriving in Alice Springs.
  • Day 7: Enjoy a free day exploring Alice Springs, with options to visit the Transport Hall of Fame or venture out to Stanley Chasm in the West MacDonnell Ranges.
  • Day 8: Leaving Alice Springs, we head south and then west to the majestic Kings Canyon, where we’ll spend the night at a remote station.
  • Day 9: After a breathtaking “rim walk” at Kings Canyon, we ride to the world-renowned natural wonder of Uluru (Ayers Rock) to witness the unforgettable sunset.
  • Day 10: Today is devoted to exploring Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, with options to visit Kata Tjuta, take a cultural tour, or enjoy various optional excursions.
  • Day 11: Crossing into South Australia, we ride through the mulga scrub lands to Coober Pedy, the opal mining capital of the world, where we’ll stay underground.
  • Day 12: Take a break from riding for an opal mine tour and explore the unique underground town of Coober Pedy.
  • Day 13: Continuing south, we visit Woomera, known for its rocket testing program, before reaching Port Augusta for a stunning sunset at Matthew Flinders Red Cliffs lookout.
  • Day 14: Leaving Port Augusta, we head north to Rawnsley Park Station via the scenic Moralana Drive, nestled in the Flinders Ranges National Park.
  • Day 15: Explore the magnificent Flinders Ranges National Park, stopping at the quaint town of Blinman for their famous quandong pies.
  • Day 16: Heading south, we pass through the scenic Clare Valley before reaching the renowned wine region of the Barossa Valley, where we overnight in Lyndoch.
  • Day 17: Ride through the picturesque Adelaide Hills to the beautiful Coorong National Park, before reaching our stay in Robe on the coast.
  • Day 18: Crossing into Victoria, we explore the ancient Grampians National Park, spending the night in Halls Gap.
  • Day 19: Descend from the Grampians to embark on the iconic Great Ocean Road, with an overnight stay in Port Campbell.
  • Day 20: Our final day takes us along the legendary Great Ocean Road, stopping at landmarks such as the 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge, before arriving in vibrant Melbourne.
  • Departure Day: Spend your last day exploring Melbourne or catch your flight home—the choice is yours.

Accommodation:

Experience 20 nights of diverse accommodations, ranging from cozy family-run lodgings to luxurious 4-star hotels. One night will be spent in a unique underground hotel, adding an unforgettable touch to your adventure.

A flexible attitude is needed, as services in these extremely remote regions of Central Asia will NOT be what you are accustomed to.

All accommodation is twin or double share, if you would like a single room there will be a single supplement: 1,600 USD  (Please note, you may be required to share a bathroom at least once on this trip).

 

Our motorcycles are insured and have a damage excess of 3,300 USD, you can reduce the excess by taking advantage of our Excess Reduction Policy: 25 USD per day.
