Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrive Leh
    Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel. This day is dedicated to acclimatization, allowing you to adjust to the altitude. In the evening, you can take a leisurely stroll around Leh market, visit Leh Palace, or enjoy the sunset from Shanti Stupa. Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • Day 2: Leh/ Alchi/ Lamayuru (160 kms/ 5 hrs)
    After breakfast, embark on a journey to Sham valley. Witness the mesmerizing confluence of Zanskar and Indus valley at Nimmu. Continue your ride to Alchi monastery, a historical site over 1000 years old. The journey proceeds to Lamayuru, another ancient monastery nestled on a mountain slope with a remarkable statue of Avalokiteshwara. Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • Day 3: Lamayuru/ Sirsir La/ Padum (184 kms/ 8 hrs)
    Today’s adventure takes you to Sirsir La, offering breathtaking mountain and valley views. Traverse through Wanla and Hanupattta villages before reaching Photoksar village. Ascend the Singe La pass amidst winding roads and hairpin bends, culminating in an unforgettable ride. The day concludes in Padum, where you can unwind and rest at the hotel.
  • Day 4: In Padum
    Explore the charms of Padum, starting with visits to Karsha monastery and Sani Monastery. The afternoon is at your leisure to relax and soak in the local atmosphere. Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • Day 5: Padum/ Shinku La/ Jispa (185 kms / 8 hrs)
    Embark on a scenic ride across Zanskar Valley, passing Bardan Gompa and Purne. Ascend to Shinku La for panoramic views before descending to Darcha and continuing towards Jispa. Check-in at the hotel and unwind after a day of exhilarating riding.
  • Day 6: Jispa/ Baralacha La/ Tsokhar (225 kms/ 7 hrs)
    Your journey continues with a ride to Sarchu, crossing Baralachala Pass and navigating Gatta Loops. The route offers stunning landscapes and thrilling roads. Arrive at Tsokar Lake, a serene location surrounded by natural beauty. Overnight camping near the lake.
  • Day 7: Tsokhar/ Tsomoriri Lake (100 kms/ 4 hrs)
    Enjoy a morning ride to Karsok village and witness the beauty of Polokong La. Reach Karzok village on Tsomoriri Lake, a protected area known for its pristine environment. Explore Karzok monastery and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the lake. Overnight camping in tents.
  • Day 8: Tsomoriri/ Nyoma (102 kms/ 3 hrs)
    Take in the morning serenity of Tsomoriri Lake before riding to Nyoma via Mahe Bridge. Experience local hospitality at a homestay and prepare for the next day’s adventure.
  • Day 9: In Nyoma – Scale Umling La, the highest pass in the World
    Embark on an early morning ride to Hanle village, renowned for its observatory and clear skies. Traverse a dirt road, ascend Umling La, the highest motorable pass globally, and capture stunning views from the summit. Return to Nyoma for a well-deserved rest.
  • Day 10: Nyoma/ Pangong Lake (140 kms/ 6 hrs)
    Set off for Pangong Lake, a picturesque journey along Indus river and through remote regions. Arrive at Pangong Lake, a majestic waterbody shared by India and China. Enjoy the enchanting surroundings and stay overnight in a camp near the lake.
  • Day 11: Pangong/ Nubra (140 kms/ 5 hrs)
    Embark on an early morning ride to Nubra valley via Shyaok river, offering captivating scenic vistas. Visit Deskit monastery and Hundur village, where you can experience a camel ride amidst sand dunes. Overnight stay in a camp.
  • Day 12: Nubra/ Khardung La/ Leh (120 kms/ 6 hrs)
    Begin your day with a challenging ride to Khardung La, once hailed as the highest motorable pass globally. Descend to Leh, admiring the panoramic views of the Ladakh range. Check-in at the hotel and relax.
  • Day 13: In Leh
    Explore Leh at your own pace, visiting cultural landmarks like Stok Palace and Hemis monastery. Enjoy a day of leisure in this enchanting town.
  • Day 14: Depart Leh
    Bid farewell to Leh as you transfer to the airport for your flight to Delhi, marking the end of your memorable journey.
