Itinerary

  • Day 1 – Arrival At New Delhi
    Upon arrival, you will be picked up from New Delhi International Airport and dropped at the hotel. After checking in and getting some rest, we will meet again in the evening for the briefing session and tour documentation, followed by dinner. Dinner is included.
  • Day 2 – Explore Delhi (60 km)
    After breakfast, we will set out to explore the capital city of India. New Delhi is known for its rich history and cultural heritage. We will visit Qutub Minar and Red Fort, and explore old Delhi by luxury car or minibus. By evening, we will return to our hotel and introduce our motorcycles. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 3 – New Delhi to Agra (225 km)
    After an early breakfast, we will start our journey towards Agra. Located on the banks of the Yamuna River, Agra is best known for the iconic Taj Mahal. In the evening, we will visit the world-famous Taj Mahal, built during the 16th century. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 4 – Agra to Lucknow (335 km)
    After exploring Agra, we will ride towards Lucknow. This bustling city is famous for its Nawabi era finesse and amazing food. It is home to extraordinary monuments depicting a blend of ancient, colonial, and oriental architecture. The ride will take at least 8 hours. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 5 – Lucknow to Gorakhpur (270 km)
    Today we will ride through the northernmost part of Uttar Pradesh. We will witness the rural lifestyle of India and reach Gorakhpur by early evening, the last major town in India before entering Nepal. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 6 – Gorakhpur to Lumbini (90 km)
    After an early breakfast, we will ride towards the Indo-Nepal border, reaching Sanauli town within an hour. After customs and immigration clearance, we will cross the border and enter Nepal, riding towards Lumbini. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 7 – Lumbini to Kathmandu (285 km)
    This will be one of the longest riding days. We will start early and ride from the Terrai region to the hilly region of Kathmandu Valley, taking 8-10 hours. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 8 – Kathmandu Rest Day
    After breakfast, we will visit the Chinese embassy to apply for a Tibet visa and other permits. The rest of the day is free to explore Kathmandu on your own. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 9 – Kathmandu to Bandipur (150 km)
    After exploring Kathmandu, we will ride down from the valley towards Bandipur, a town known for its traditional architecture and epic Himalayan views. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 10 – Bandipur to Gurkha (70 km)
    Today we will ride to Gorkha, historically linked to the formation of modern Nepal and known as the land of valiant warriors. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 11 – Gurkha to Rasuwagadi (190 km)
    After exploring Gorkha, we will start our journey towards the Nepal-Tibet border, riding mostly off-road with narrow, dusty paths. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 12 – Rasuwa Border (1800m) to Kyirong Town (2800m) (60 km)
    After breakfast, we will complete exit formalities at Nepal customs and immigration. Our Chinese guide will meet us at the Kyirong border. We will then drive to Kyirong Town. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 13 – Kyirong Town (2800m) to Old Tingri (4340m) via Kongtang Lhamo Pass (5236m) (300 km)
    We will drive upward to the Tibetan Plateau, passing one of the highest passes and seeing the magnificent Mt. Shixiabangma and Pekutso Lake. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 14 – Old Tingri (4300m) to EBC (5200m) via Gyawula Pass (5200m) (250 km)
    We will drive from Old Tingri to EBC, enjoying the highest peak on earth and the spectacular Himalayan ranges. After exploring EBC, we will drive to Shegar. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 15 – Shegar (4300m) to Shigatse (3800m) via Gyatsola Pass (5200m) (300 km)
    We will drive to Sakya, a famous monastery and Buddhist sect, passing Gyatsola Pass. Then, we will drive to Shigatse. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 16 – Shigatse for Driving License and Bike License
    We will apply for a temporary driving license and permits for motorcycles. It will take the whole day to process the documents. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 17 – Shigatse (3800m) to Gyantse (3940m) (90 km)
    After breakfast, we will ride to Gyantse, which boasts important cultural and historical sites. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 18 – Gyantse (3900m) to Lhasa (3650m) via Simi La Pass (4352m) and Khampa La Pass (4760m) (265 km)
    We will ride to Lhasa, passing Manak Dam Lake, Korola Glacier, Yamdrok Lake, and Mount Nyichen Khangsa. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 19 – Sightseeing In Lhasa
    We will visit the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Bakhor Street. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 20 – Sightseeing In Lhasa
    We will visit Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery, famous for monk debating. Breakfast and dinner included.
  • Day 21 – Departure from Lhasa
    After breakfast, we will drop you at the airport for your onward journey, ending the tour with memories of an epic adventure. Breakfast included.

Spend some time in Lhasa or fly back home, the choice is yours!

Accommodation:

20 Nights shared double / twin room at 3 stars hotels. Campsites and Guest Houses when off the beaten track.

Single accommodation is available with a supplement of 1000 USD (please note that shared bathrooms may be required at some locations).

Available upgrades:

Free insurance is included, however there is a mandatory 100 USD fee to remove excess. Must be settle when reaching India.
